Revive Our Gulf does not consider that the Fisheries Amendment Bill represents a credible or sufficient step toward ecosystem-based fisheries management in Aotearoa New Zealand.

It does not materially strengthen the system’s ability to respond to degraded ecosystems, cumulative effects, or habitat loss, nor does it embed a more holistic, adaptive, or evidence-based approach to management.
