Education and resources

We’re working to share what we’re learning about restoring kūtai reefs, and to make that knowledge more accessible.

Restoration must respond to a range of pressures, including sedimentation, marine pests, harvesting, and climate change impacts. Together with tangata whenua, researchers, and communities, we’re developing a shared understanding of the conditions that support reef development, and applying these insights to strengthen restoration approaches over time.

Our resources

Check out some of the resources developed by our team at Revive Our Gulf alongside our tangata whenua and research partners.

External resources

A number of organisations working in the marine restoration space have developed resources that are available for public use. We’ve compiled a list of links to other websites where you can learn more about the Hauraki Gulf, marine restoration, and more.

Hauraki Gulf Forum

The Hauraki Gulf Forum has a number of posters that you can download from their website here.
